Sphero Plans New Force Band For BB-8
Wish you could control the cool, Star Wars Robotic BB-8 ball using "The Force"? You will soon be able to, thanks to an upcoming product from BB-8 developer Sphero. Sphero said at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that it is launching the Force Band, a wrist band which will let you control BB-8 simply by using gestures--translating what a user's body does to BB-8's motion. Pricing on the new product, which is expected to debut later this year, was not announced. The new product was announced by Sphero CEO Paul Berberian at CES yesterday.
