LiveOps, a developer of cloud-based contact center and customer services software--and operator of its own cloud-based contact center services business based out of Scottsdale--said today that it has been acquired by private equity investor
Marlin Equity. The acquisition will split LiveOps' cloud-based software arm,
LiveOps Cloud, from LiveOps' customer service agent business,
LiveOps Agent Servvices. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. LiveOps Agent Services will continue on as an independent organization, based in Scottsdale and with offices in Redwood City, California and Dayton, Ohio. The companies said LiveOps Agent Services will be led by General Manager of Agent Services, Greg Hanover. LiveOps Agent Services has a network of what it says are 20,000, independent, work-at-home agents who help provide outsource call center agent services to customers. LiveOps Cloud is based in Austin, Texas.
