Revolar Raises $3M For Bluetooth Panic Button
Denver-based Revolar, a startup developing a Bluetooth enabled "panic button" which alerts friends and family if they are in trouble, has raised $3M in a funding round. The funding was led by the Foundry Group. Revolar is led by Jacqueline Ros, and has a team of nine. The company says it previously raised $83,247 through Kickstarter, and was part of Techstars Boulder. The company likens its service to a "lightweight, on-the-go version of home security."
