The
Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA), a local group which promotess the clean energy industry, said late Thursday that it has named four winners in a competition it held to identify new technology in the oil and natural gas industry. According to the CCIA, it has named
Apogee Scientific,
Carnot Compression, and
NanoConversion Technologies as winners of its 2015 Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge, which was sponsored by ConocoPhillips, Encana and Noble Energy. Apogee Scientific develops instrumentation for detecting methane and hydrocarbon leaks; Carnot Compression develops equipment for compress gas; and NanoConversion makes equipment which converts heat into electrical power.
