Ascent Solar's EnerPlex Hits Sports Authority
Thornton, Colorado-based thin film photovoltaic module developer Ascent Solar is expanding distribution of its consumer focused, EnerPlex line of products at Sports Authority, the company said this morning. Ascent said the products will initially roll out at 100 select Sports Authority stores. The company did not say exactly which of its portable power and solar power products will roll out at the sports retailer. EnerPlex has refocused in recent years on consumer products, taking lightweight solar powered battery chargers and cases--plus some non-solar batteries--directly to consumers.
