Descartes Labs Raises $3.3M

Descartes Labs
disclosed Monday that it has raised $3.3M in a funding round, to help bring its image analysis software to market. The startup, which spun out of Los Alamos National Lab, is led by Mark Johnson. The funding came from Crosslink Capital and others. Descartes Labs says its software churns through massive amounts of satellite and other imagery to help with real-time analysis of changes on Earth.
