Denver-based colocation provider
Cologix is looking to help its customers connect with cloud based service providers this morning, with a new product called
Cologix Cloud Connect. According to Cologix, the new service gives its colocation customers direct access to more than 100 cloud service providers, bypassing the public Internet. Pricing on the new service was not announced. Cologix said the new service gives access to such cloud services as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud via protected links. Cologix is targeting enterprise customers, who have been very cautious about moving their operations to the cloud, due to concerns over security, reliability, and portability.
