Sling TV, the new, online television streaming services which is part of DISH Network, said Monday that it has signed a deal with network
EPIX, to add that company's channels ot its lineup. Financial details of the deal were not announced, however, the companies said the deal includes EPIX, EPIX2, EPIX3 and EPIX Drive-In, along with more than 2,000 movie and entertainment titles available on-demand. Sling TV said the channels will be added separately as an add-on to Sling TV's core, $20 package. Sling is rolling up a collection of channels for delivery via the Internet, which do not require a traditional cable or satellite subscription. The initial lineup of channels on the service include ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, TBS, Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, ABC Family, Disney Channel, CNN, El Rey and Galavision.
