ViZn Shifts Headquarters To Texas, Will Expand In Montana
Montana-based ViZn Energy, which is developing energy storage products for the clean technology industry, said Tuesday that it has expanded to Austin, Texas, where it will open up a new corporate headquarters. ViZn said the new location comes in addition to expansion in Montana, where it has its design center, engineering, and operations staff. ViZn said the Montana expansion will go to support development and production of its next generation batteries. ViZn is looking to tap into the reputation of Austin as a "technology center" and to tap into the clean technology industry in the location. The comapny said it has now raised a total of $24M, including $7M raised in 2014.
