Aventura Gets $14M
Denver-based healthcare software developer Aventura said Monday that it has raised $14M in a Series C funding round, for its healthcare workflow optimization software. The startup--led by John Gobron--said the funding was co-led by Safeguard Scientific and Merck Global Health Innovation Fund (Merck GHI), and also included prior investors Excel Venture Management,HLM Venture Partners, and Memorial Care Innovation Fund. The company said the new funds go towards sales, marketing, business development, customer support, and product development.
