Sunquest Buys Data Innovations
Tucson-based Sunquest Information Systems announced today that it has acquired venture-backed Data Innovations, a developer of software in the laboratory middleware software area. Financial terms of the buy were not disclsoed. Sunquest said the acquisition was made through its parent company, Roper Industries. Data Innovation was backed by Battery Ventures, and makes software which connects laboratory equipment directly with health information systems.
