Kickstart Seed Fund Closes $39M Fund III
Salt Lake City-based seed investment fund Kickstart Seed Fund has closed on its $39M, Fund II, in what the investment group says is the largest seed fund ever in Utah. The fund is being managed by longtime Utah venture veterans Gavin Christensen and Clarke Miyasaki, along with new Partner Dalton Wright, and new Venture Partner Curt Roberts. Alex Soffe heads up the company's back office, with Morgan Davis serving as an Associate. The fund says it has so far invested in more than 60 companies since it started in 2008.
