Monnit, which develops wireless sensors, said Thursday that it has rolled out a new line of products which connect those sensors to 3G and 2G cellular networks. Monnit said its new International M2M cellular gateways support 3G (GSM/UMTS) or 2G (GSM/GPRS) cellular networks, so that its sensors can be used on the majority of the world's cellular networks. Monnit's sensors are used by businesses for monitoring temperature, humidity, water, light, access, movement and other conditions.
