KRG's Convergint Buys UK Firm
Convergint Technologies, one of the portfolio companies of Denver private equity firm KRG Capital Partners, has acquired a UK-based security services company. According to Covergint, it has acquired UK-based Beacon Security and Communications LTD, which is based in Crowborough, England. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Beacon provides security system design, integration, support, and training. KRG has been investor in Convergint since August of 2012; the private equity firm has $4.4 billion under management.
