Redfin Expands Online Real Estate Into Colorado Springs
Internet-savvy online real estate brokerage Redfin said today that it is expanding its services into Colorado Springs, adding a third high tech market to its coverage area. The company, which offers up home buying and selling services via the Internet in Boulder and Denver, said that Colorado Spring--much like its other two Colorado markets--has a thriving tech sector. The company said customers can now work with its agents to buy and sell homes in Colorado Springs metro area and El Paso County as well as Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor, Black Forest, Falcon, Fountain, Security-Widefield and Woodland Park. The company pays agents based on satisfaction, not on commission, and refunds a portion of the buyer's agent commission to its customers, and charges only 1.5 percent to listing clients. Redfin is headquartered in Seattle.
