GoDaddy Aims Virtual, Dedicated Server Offering At Web Pros
Scottsdale, Arizona-based GoDaddy said today that it has re-launhced its dedicated and virtual private server offerings, with a new website called GoDaddy Pro. The revamped offerings are targeted at more sophisticated users--including web developers and designers--who are looking to tap into GoDaddy's services but prefer to have more sophisticated access to the company's various offerings. According to GoDaddy, the new service offers up virtual private servers and dedicated servers on CentOS, Fedora or Windows and use cPanel or Plesk control panels. Those offerings let web developers and designers have better control over the websites they are developing for clients. GoDaddy said the new offering is specifically catered to tech-savvy developers and designers who need more detailed product information, who need things like staging tools and root access.
