Dish Network, the Englewood, Colorado-based satellite television operator, has begun accepting Bitcoin for payment for its services, the company said Thursday. The company had announced in May that it would begin accepting Bitcoin for the service. The
first customers for Dish Networks' Bitcoin service apparently are Provo, Utah-based "Life On Bitcoin" couple Austin and Beccy Craig, who spend the first 101 days of their marriage paying for everything in Bitcoin. Dish Network said in May that customers would be able to pay their monthly bills in Bitcoin, via a deal with Coinbase. Austin and Beccy Craig are apparently getting set to release their documentary soon on that experience.
