A report, published last night, says that Utah's
Vivint--the big, Blackstone-owned home energy services and technology developer, was
completely wiped off the face of Google--shortly after Google acquired Vivint smart thermometer competitor
Nest. The report, from PandoDaily, said the delisting demonstrates the "massive anti-competitive sledgehammer" that Google has at its disposal. Google, for its part, said it removed Vivint
because of spammy guest posts, not because of any competitive reasons.
