Google Buys New Mexico's Titan Aerospace
Titan Aerospace, a Moriarty, New Mexico-based maker of smart, robotic drones, has been acquired by Google. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Titan Aerospace calls its drones "atmospheric satellites", and was aiming its technology a providing remote Internet connections, helping to monitor the environment and things like oil spills, and more.
