Sphero's Take On Amazon's Robot Delivery: Amazon Prime Ground
Last week, Amazon.com's Jeff Bezos raised eyebrows on his announcement that Amazon was--seriously--looking to use airborne drones to delivery packages from its warehouses. In a clever sendup of Amazon's video of its drone concept in action, Boulder-based Orbotix issued its own video imagining its own robot--the Sphero robotic ball--as the delivery mechanism for "Amazon Prime Ground".
