MyHeritage said this morning that it is in a major market expansion, focused on Nordic countries. According to the family history site, it is investing millions of dollars to specifically bolsters Nordic historical content, covering Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, and has added milions of historical records to its database in those countries. MyHeritage said it already has 470,000 users in Sweden, 350,000 in Norway, 300,000 in Denmark, and 200,000 in Finland. The big market expansion deal also includes social media channel outreach and other efforts.
