Ascent Solar Opens Up New Mall Locations
Thornton, Colorado-based thin film photovoltaic products maker Ascent Solar said this morning that it is expanding its retail ambitions, and has opened up three new kiosk locations selling its EnerPlex consumer electronics products. Ascent Solar said the new locations--all in Southern California--will give shoppers the opportunity to touch and feel its products. Ascent Solar branched into the retail market last year, incorporating its thin-film, photovoltaic modules into cell phone cases, portable solar chargers, and more. The three new kiosk locations are at The Grove in Los Angeles, Westfield Santa Anita and the Irvine Spectrum Center, three major, high profile, upscale Southern California mall locations.
