Surefire Medical, a developer of medical devices being used for minimally invasive procedures, has raised $18.2M in a Series B funding round, the company announced. Source of the new funding was not announced. According to Surefire Medical, the new funding will go towards product development, clinical trials, operations and marketing. Surefire Medical said the new funds came from angel and "super-angel" investors. Surefire Medical is led by Jim Chomas.
