Boulder-based
Rally Software said this morning that it is donating more than $1M in its stock towards local, Colorado community groups, following through on a pledge it made to the
Entrepreneurs Foundation of Colorado over ten years ago. According to Rally, it originally pledged one percent of its founding equity--or 24,763 shares--to the EFCO, plus an additional 22,396 shares later on--to help bolster the local Colorado community. The payout is the first, significant funding for the EFCO out of the program. The EFCO
was created to provide a permnanet endowment to arts, civic involvement, education, the environment, and health and human services groups in Colorado; along with Rally Software, dozens of companies have so far pledged some of their equity to the group.
