Aircell, the in-flight, business aviation-focused Wi-Fi and voice connectivity provider which is a unit of Gogo, said today that it has launched a new product. The company said its ATG 2000 equipment package is aimed at providing Internet and voice services aboard aircraft with fewer users and/or lighter passenger loads, such as light jets and turboprops. The new service is a version of its Gogo Biz product, which it has been offering to the high end business aviation market. As part of the new product launch, Aircell said it has signed up the Travel Management Company as a customer; Travel Management Company (TMC) has a light jet charter fleet of nearly 70 aircraft.
