TechStars, the startup acceleration program founded in Boulder, is expanding yet again, and has launched a new health-focused accelerator with
Sprint, the accelerator announced today. The new
Sprint Accelerator will focus on mobile health startups, and will be based in Kansas City. The program is thr fourth "powered by" accelerator being run by TechStars, which also runs similar efforts at Nike, Kaplan, and R/GA. Financial details of the deal to run the new accelerator were not announced. TechStars has created what has become the template for startup acceleration programs worldwide--a three month program, intensive mentoring, a demo day for investors.
