LANDesk Names Marketing Head
Salt Lake City-based LANDesk Software said it has named a new Chief Marketing Officer this morning, to head up its strategic marketing and branding initiatives. LANDesk said that Steve Morton, who was most recently CMO at RES Software, will serve as Chief Marketing Officer. Morton also had served at Symantec, Peregrine Systems, and Folio Corporation. The company says Morton has more than 15 years of experience in the IT software product strategy area. LANDesk offers up a range of software aimed at the IT service management and security market.
