Gnip already has a hefty storehouse of social data available through its service, which is used by companies analyzing social media activity. However, it's grown that huge social data storehouse today with a deal with
GetGlue, a provider of social TV information, to add data from that service to its APIs. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. According to Gnip, the deal means it is able to now provide full coverage of social data around viewing habits for television shows, movies and sports from GetGlue.
