Aspect Software Buys Voxeo For $150M
Phoenix, Arizona-based Aspect Software, a developer of interactive voice response software and services, said today that it has acquired Voxeo, a provider of cloud-based, hosted, and on-premise interactive voice response (IVR) software for developing voice, SMS, instant messaging, and other applications. The deal was worth approximately $150M. According to Aspect Software, the deal is expected to "significantly" enhance its ability to support cloud, hybrid, and premise-based IVR deployments. Aspect's software is used for content center management and communications.
