GeoPalz said this morning that it has teamed up with
Disney's Club Penguin, to offer up new athletic activity tracking to kids in Club Penguin. GeoPalz said it will provide a Club Penguin-branded, iBitz wearable game peripheral for Disney, so that users of Club Penguin can earn virtual coins and content for athletic activity. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. GeoPalz said the company has been involved in the Nike+ Accelartor Program to expand out its techniques for tying athletic activity into digital currency and rewards. GeoPalz was created by Rich and Sheri Schmelzer and Alexandra O'Leary, who are also known for the Jibbitz shoe accessories for Crocs.
