said today that it has updated its e-discovery platform, AD eDiscovery. The firm said the updated software expands collection sources, and adds additional functionality to its tool. AD eDiscovery is used for electronic discovery, the process of examining electronic evidence in lawsuits and legal proceedings. AccessData said its tool now can parse data from Gmail Corporate, LiveLink repositories, Exchange 2013, and other software packages. AccessData is backed by Sorenson Capital Partners and Silicon Valley Bank.
