Boulder-based email API and services firm
SendGrid has tied into the Drupal community, via a new link with
Pantheon. According to SendGrid, it has partnerd with Pantheon, to allow developers building websites on Pantheon's Drupal platform access to SendGrid's transactional email services. Financial details of the link were not announced by the companies. SendGrid's APIs are used by application developers to avoid the hassles of dealing with email delivery, ISP blacklists, spam filtering issues, or scaling. Pantheon is a provider of Drupal infrastructure, allowing developers to build, test, and host their Drupal websites. Drupal is an open source, content management system (CMS) popular with website developers. SendGrid is venture backed by Foundry Group, Highway 12 Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, and angels.
