EPIC Ventures Backs Business Intelligence Startup
Salt Lake City-based venture capital investor EPIC Ventures has led an investment in business intelligence startup HG Data Company, HG Data announced this morning. HD Data says it has created a cloud-based business intelligence database which gather business intelligence from the web and offline sources for use in lead generation, marketing, and market share analysis. The firm raised $2M in a funding led by EPIC Ventures, and which also included angel investors. HG Data is based in Santa Barbara, California. EPIC Ventures' participation was led by Kent Madsen.
