Swiftpage Snags Funding To Buy Sage ACT!, SalesLogix
Englewood, Colorado-based digital marketing software developer Swiftpage said today that it has reached a deal with The Sage Group plc, to buy that firm's Sage ACT! contact management and Sage SalesLogix customer relationship management (CRM) businesses. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. As part of the deal, Swiftpage said it has raised "significant capital" from a group of partners, including Sage and private equity firm Accel-KKR. Details on the capital raise were also not announced. According to Swiftpage, which is headed by John Oechsle, the acquisition and funding will accelerate its efforts to deliver its digital marketing platform to small and medium-sized businesses worldwide.
