Coach Alba Launches Dieting Help Via Text Message
Can a timely text message from "Coach Alba" help you keep on track with your dieting plans? That's the idea behind a new service from Provo, Utah-based startup Coach Alba, which said this morning that it has launched a new, text-message based service which helps influence individuals to better fllow their weight loss plans. Coach Alaba said that it sends out custom messages to individuals at "crucial moments of weakness", to keep them on track with their diet plans. The service--which costs $5 a month--texts reminders to exercise, tracks how users are doing, sends hints and tips, and more to users to help them lose weight. The firm is led by Vincent Han.
