Pluralsight, a provider of online education courses aimed at software developers, has raised $27.5M in a funding round. The funding came from Insight Venture Partners. Pluralsight said the funding its is first, outside investment in the company since its founding in 2004. The firm initially was focused on classroom-based training, but started moving online in 2008. The company says it now has over 200,000 users across more than 100 countries, and is offering up more than 400 online courses. The firm is headed by Aaron Skonnard.
