Avnet Buys USI Electronics
Phoenix-based Avnet, the electronics distributor, said today that it is acquiring the assets of USI Electronics. Financial details of the buy were not announced. USI Electronics is a distributor of discrete semiconductor, passive and electromechanical components to the military and aerospace customers. USI was based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and had approximately $70M in revenues in 2011.
