Opengear Expands In Europe
Sandy, Utah-based remote access hardware provider OpenGear is expanding in Europe, and has hired a new head of sales in the region, the company said this week. OpenGear said it named Derek Watkins as its new Director of Sales for EMEA. Watkins was previously at Server Technology, and also has served at AFCO Systems. OpenGear said its European team saw 78 percent year-over-year growth. The firm's EMEA operations are based in the UK.
