AtTask, which develops project management software, said this morning that it has raised a new round of funding worth $17M. The funding was led by Greenspring Associates, and also included Escalate Capital, University Venture Fund and Omniture founder Josh James. The firm said it will use the new funding to acquire market share, and to expand its sales, marketing, development, and services teams. AtTask is led by Eric Morgan, and provides its software-as-a-service products to enterprise teams. The firm said its customers include Nike, Cisco, ABC, ESPN, 3M, and Trek.
