Mersive is debuting a new product to let users share a screen over a network, called Solstice, the company said this morning. Mersive said the new product--which it is showing at the DEMO Fall conference in Silicon Valley--allows users to share and move content from one screen to another, running on an IP network. The company said the new tool allows users to display a screen simultaneously across laptops, tablets, or smart phones, using exiting IP networks. The software is an extension of Mersive's technology, which has been previously applied to merging multiple projection displays into a single, coordinated projection screen. Mersive is headed by Rob Balgley. Pricing on the new product was not announced.
