Phoenix-based software developer
i4Software, which develops the popular FLASHLIGHT iPhone application, is hoping to sell the rights to the title via online app marketplace
Apptopia. Apptopia said that i4Software has listed FLASHLIGHT, which allows users to use the iPhone as a flashlight by lighting up the flash, for $1 million. It's unclear if the firms will see any interest on bidding on the app, which it reports made $8,294 in the last 30 days. FLASHLIGHT sells for 99 cents on iTunes. Apptopia said it has sold apps between $500 to $150,000 on its marketplace, and that the listing is the highest to date on its marketplace. There were no bidders on the app on Friday morning.
