Domo, the venture backed, software-as-a-service firm headed by former Omniture co-founder Josh James, has made a new hire, saying Wednesday that it has named Doug Grounds as the firm's new Vice President of Customer Success. The company--one of the most watched, venture backed firms in the region--said Grounds joins the company from Aggregate KNowledge, where he was responsible for all pre-sales and post sales teams, as well as partner integrations and relationships. Grounds had also previously served at Omniture. Domo has a healthy, $63M in funding from high visibility Silicon Valley investors Benchmark Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, IVP, SV Angel, and Hummer Winblad, among others. The company is developing cloud-based, business intelligence software, which helps executives gain access to real-time, business intelligence on their companies. Domo is based in American Fork, Utah.
