FlipChip International, the provider of semiconductor packacing technology, reported today that it has acquired a Chinese company, focused on semiconductor assembly and test. Financial details of the acquisition were not given. FlipChip said it has acquired Millennium Microtech Holdings Corporation (MMH) of the Cayman Islands, which gives it a controlling interest in Millennium Microtech (Shanghai) (MMS), located in the Zhang Jiang Hi- Tech Park, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, China. FlipChip said the acquisition is complementary to its product and technology roadmaps.
