Rogue Wave Software Buys Software Line From IBM

Rogue Wave Software
is expanding its lineup of tools through an acquisition, the firm said Thursday, of
IBM's ILOG Visualization for C++ Products
line. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Rogue Wave said its agreement to acquire the line will add high-performance data visualization capabilities to its portfolio. Rogue Wave, which is headed by Brian Pierce, develops a range of software tools specifically aimed at the high performance computing (HPC) market. The firm is venture backed by Battery Ventures.
