Denver-based
TriZetto Group, the developer of healthcare IT software, is getting set for a major expansion of hiring in the area, and plans to hire up to 750 new jobs at the company over the next five years. The news came as the firm announced a plan to build a new, worldwide headquarters in the Meridian International Business Center in Douglas County, which was announced by the company and Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper. TriZetto moved its headquarters to Denver in July of 2010, when the firm tapped Trace Devanny to head up the company. Devanny was tapped by private equity firm Apax Partners to head up TriZetto in Denver after the firm acquired the company. TriZetto already had around 500 employees in the area. TriZetto said te expansion plans come in part to tap into a highly-educated workforce, strong healthcare and technology industry sector, and a ppool of local talent from local area colleges. The new, 165,000 square foot headquarters is expected to be open in Spring of 2013.
