Inovonics Targets Healthcare Market
Louisville, Colorado-basesd Inovonics, the developer of wireless sensor networks, claims that the firm is seeing traction in the healthcare market for its security products. The firm said it has seen a number of hospitals using its systems, to pinpoint and communicate the location of mobile duress alarm devices. Inovonics explained that it has been seeing hospitals turn to its wireless technologies to help prevent workplace assaults--along with such tasks as automating temperature checks for freezers and refrigerators, and preventing theft of large assets.
