MyHeritage, the venture backed developer of family history and related tools, said today that it has launched a new, printed, personalized family calendars. The company, which is backed by Accel Partners and Index Ventures, said that the new printed calendars automatically fill in important events such as birthdays, anniversaries, and national holidays, decorated with family photos, for users of the site. The service automatically pulls family tree information to create those printed calendars, in what the company describes as "one click." The calendars sell for $19.95 plus shipping. MyHeritage said the calendars come via a collaboration between the firm and Fuga Technologies and Total Graphics, which are using the firm's application programming interfaces (APIs) and Adobe InDesign Server to create the printed calendars from user data.
