, a provider of audio conferencing equipment, said this morning that it has acquired Israeli firm
VCON Video Conferencing Ltd.
, a developer of software video conferencing products. ClearOne said it will acquire substantially all of the assets of VCON for $4.5M in cash. The buy adds a portfolio of HD videoconferencing products to ClearOne's lineup, including both room and desktop video applications, network management, and other infrastructure.
