SendGrid Reaches 20 Billion Emails
Boulder-based SendGrid, the provider of email delivery software-as-a-service, reports today that it has sent 20 billion emails on behalf of its customers. The firm--which is used by companies such as foursquare, Spotify, Airbnb, Twilio and Path, along with another 30,00 web developers--said it is now sending 2.2 billion emails per month for its customers. SendGrid provides email infrastructure which helps web developers manage sending transactional emails. The firm is run by Jim Franklin, and backed by Foundry Group and Highway 12 Ventures.
