ViaWest Launches Cloud Computing Service
Denver-based ViaWest, which provides data center, colocation, and hosting services, said today that it has launched a new, cloud computing service called KINECTed Cloud. The firm said the offering provides either VMware, vCloud hypervisors or open source, Xen-based hypervisors for users. Pricing on the new service was not disclosed. ViaWest said it is targeting the service at businesses needing a dynamic pool of computing, storage, and networking resources.
